DJ stabbed his face during an argument with his colleague

A 28-year-old radio disc jockey (DJ) was stabbed Saturday night during an argument with a colleague at his place of employment, Lance Gibbs Street, Queenstown, Georgetown.
Based on reports received, the now-injured DJ arrived at the radio station where he works where an argument broke out between him and another DJ.
During the argument, the suspect became angry, armed himself with a glass bottle, broke the same and dealt with the victim four shots to his face after which the suspect made his escape .
The injured man was taken to Georgetown Public Hospital and seen and examined by a doctor; handle it and send it away. Up to press time, the suspect was still fleeing but the Police are making every effort to contact him.
Meanwhile, Boom FM’s Hits and Jams stated in a statement that management was aware of the incident that occurred in his studio between an independent DJ and his selector during a paid program.
“The matter is currently under investigation by the Police and HJ 94.1 has taken a decision to suspend the independent program and the two individuals from our airwaves,” the statement added.
An investigation is underway.
