An independent radio disc jockey, called DJ Yannick, is alleged to have been injured by his selector, DJ Raw Gold.
The incident happened last night around 8:45 at HJ Radio 94.1 on Lance Gibbs Street, Queenstown.
Police say DJ Raw Gold allegedly broke a Guinness bottle and stabbed 28-year-old DJ Yannick several times to his face.
DJ Yannick told police that on arrival at the radio station he contacted the suspect and they argued over work.
DJ Raw Gold escaped.
Police say DJ Yannick said he was transported to Georgetown Public Hospital where he was treated and sent away.
HJ 94.1 management confirmed the incident and said the independent program and two DJs were suspended from its airwaves.
The radio station made clear that DJ Yannick and DJ Raw Gold are independent deejays who otherwise buy airtime from the radio studio to air their weekend programs
