First Class Auto provides assistance to Endurance C / Ship

Kaieteur News – The first round of the Secure Innovations and Concepts Inc. Endurance Championships. (SIC) / Guyana Motor Racing and Sport Club (GMR & SC) has been lit green for speed on January 24 and has been greeted with great anticipation by the motorsport community. with dozens of competitors signing off on their intention to race.
Continuing its support for car racing in Guyana is First Class Auto Spares and Sales who have decided to be a part of this historic meeting with $ 50,000 sponsorship.
First Class Auto Representative; Richard Hamid, who is also competing in the 1500cc class, in an invited media comment, noted that he was pleased that the GMR & SC Executive had successfully negotiated the return of motor sport following the covert 2020 season that came about after covid- 19.
Hamid, who also competes in the 1500cc class, noted that he, like other competitors, was keen to race but understands that it will not be the same as before and that additional safety protocols will have to be followed to ensure that everyone is protected .
So far, dozens of drivers have already indicated they are part of the three-hour race including defending champion Adrian Fernandes, a lap record holder; Rameez Mohamed, MotilallDeodass, Harper’s ‘Afo’, ‘White Boy’, Richard and his brother Reeyaz Hamid and Harold ‘Topgun’ Hopkinson.
The GMR & SC has made clear to this announcement that potential competitors, that special covid-19 rules and protocols will be provided during the coming week to ensure the safety of drivers, mechanics, officers and all related to the incident.
Prospective competitors are reminded of the need for helmets and gloves and those interested in competing are asked to contact the GMR & SC through the Albert Street office.
