Linden’s teacher was granted bail for violating the COVID-19 guideline

A Linden District 10 (Upper Demerara-Berbice) teacher who appeared in Linden Magistrates Court on Monday was charged with violating a $ 30,000 bail social restriction by Magistrate Wanda Fortune.
The charge against defendant Delon King, attached to Mackenzie High School and of Block 22 Wismar, Linden, alleged that he held a private party on Sunday, Jan. 24, 2021, at Four Corner, Wismar, Linden, thus violating COVID guidelines -19.
He, however, pleaded not guilty to the charge. The case was adjourned until February 12, 2021, for trial.
