The Sheriff’s Medical Center sponsors a team for SIC Endurance C / Ship


Kaieteur News – Just under two weeks wait before round one of the 2021 Guyana Racing and Motor Sports Club (GMR & SC) Endurance Championship moves into gear at the South Dakota Circuit, Timehri, and high on the agenda is safety for everyone and will be part of the event.
To this end, Sheriff Medical Center, located 12-13 Sheriff Street Subraynville, has joined the major sponsor Secure Innovations & Concepts Inc. (SIC) with support in the form of an ambulance and medical team for the day.
Ameir Ahmad, speaking on behalf of Sheriff Medical, noted that his company is happy to be part of the return of the competition for motor sport locally and that this is only the beginning of its support for the year.

The Sheriff’s Medical Center joins the sponsorship team for the GMR & SC / SIC Endurance Championship.

Meanwhile, over 20 drivers have already indicated their intention to push their engines into the limited three-hour race including defending champion Adrian Fernandes, a lap record holder; Mohamed, Motilall Deodass, and ‘Afo’ Harper have been prominent in the media lately.
The GMR & SC revealed to potential competitors special covid-19 rules and protocols in the coming week to ensure safety off drivers, mechanics, officers and everyone involved. Prospective competitors are reminded of the need for helmets and gloves and those interested in competing are asked to contact the GMR & SC through the Albert Street office.
