A world of weeping
A dappled sun shone through the trees with dreamy shadows.
Sirens weeping in the distance.
Busy streets and cacophonous noises all around.
A gasoline and burnt cigar fills the air.
Tires scream as a flying car flies through the traffic,
almost shattering the life of an older pedestrian.
Deaths lurking around.
In the queue of traffic, there’s so much I can’t understand.
Hot coffee and fresh breakfast on the go,
just to be thrown out the window below.
Adding to horrific garbage in the drains,
leave bins empty, you’d think they don’t have a brain.
Pavement claws as dry as bone.
A man with a rough beard and torn clothes.
He sits begging for a penny for a meal he might not see.
The road with oh so many holes,
makes me feel like I’m moving fast in a rattling raft at sea.
A galloping horse is gasping for breath.
His master tries to make him run as fast as the wind,
with a crop, that chokes the top of his skin.
Small carcasses on every corner,
being crushed by furious beasts that hearts are filled with torture.
The world is weeping in sorrow.
There is no humanity left in humans
with all this cruelty predicted tomorrow.
