Crabwood Creek woman missing for 13 days

Kaieteur News – Relatives of a woman from Crabwood Creek are seeking the public’s help in providing information on the whereabouts of Bibi Fareeda Khan, 53, who went missing some 13 days ago.
According to her sister, Liloon Bhola, the woman would usually venture to the backyard of Crabwood Creek with her husband on a monthly basis, as he works at the location looking after a businessman’s property and animals. Bhola said they would go in at the beginning of the month and venture out at the end of the month or sooner, if their goods run out.
“Last week on Sunday she comes out and she buys her stuff and on Monday morning she left home around 5:00 am. He joined the canter truck taking the workers in and after that, we haven’t heard anything, ”said Bhola. The woman said her brother-in-law (Khan’s husband) came out of the backdam three days ago and “when he comes she goes to search a dem house and he calls her husband and asks for her . ” He added that he was told they thought she was with him and he noted that she was not.
“He comes to tell me and ask me where Fareeda and I tell him to go and carry the rash. Tell me he got the rash but not her, a dem worker removes it from the canter truck, ”he said. That’s when they became concerned and decided to produce a report at Springlands Police Station. However, since filing the report the relatives claim that the police have made no effort to assist in the search for the woman.
“I asked the police to check in with us where she was staying with her husband and today is three days and there is no police or entry yet. This morning, I’m begging dem and then dem tells me how I had to talk to the guy and then dem told us …, ”said Bhola.
The lost woman lived Lot 27 Grant 1780 (School Dam), Crabwood Creek with her husband. They have six children, four of whom are alive. Khan has five brothers and two sisters. Anyone who may have information on the whereabouts of Bibi Fareeda Khan can contact his sister at 335-0642.
