God still `loves’ criminals and riggers?
My lead problem is dealt with through personal levity and very serious recall.
Initially, my late great uncle Uncle Arthur BC – (ABC) Fenty was born on the thirteenth day of March. And so did the woman who married me! They were both well-known Primary School teachers. (For eleven years, I also enjoyed being a reasonably successful teacher.)
So you see that each of the twelve months of the year would have some personal significance for individuals and families. Then there are national, political, and even cultural events happening in specific months. Some actually planned and scheduled. Others very spontaneous.
Quite frankly, at one time for me – 20/30 years ago- March was a reminder of racially motivated, horrific rapes, bombings and massacres around the country in March 1964. Kowsilla was , a striking sugar worker protesting at WCD’s Leonora Estate with her broken tractor-driven body.
Of course Cheddi Jagan, Guyana’s rebellious anti-colonial pioneer, was born and buried in March. I think Desmond Hoyte was born in March as well. So too did the famous Walter Rodney. For a month!

March 2020: To Remember? Or forget it
Speaking plainly, I know that humans can forgive more easily than forget. What is presented in your psyche hardly leaves your memory, you do. He “grows” with you.
My old-time political party – the PNC – has ensured that we all, from the age of twelve to ninety and more, will remember what they did to electoral politics in March 2020 and March 2020.
From December 2018 when the Coalition’s uniform was given a parliamentary vote of confidence by the Caretaker government ahead of new elections, the PNC – mastering as “APNU” – used and abused the courts, along with a political bully, to continue to manipulate impulses of governing power. for 14 months.
The Brigadier-President finally consented to elections for March 02, 2020. Then for five months CARICOM and the world watched as the PNC sought to seize a prominent electoral power to deny most of their manifestation of their will. The CARICOM highest court even had to rule that thirty-three (33), by our own Constitution, was a simple sixty-five (65) majority. As CARICOM laughed at us – as they once did (1968-1992) – some of their lawyers employed by the PNC won millions! Surely playwrights, including Shakespeare, would not have found rich material from our Guyana’s Ides of March.
By the way, I have to admit my own personal flaws find it difficult to hold PNC Senators in any sense. Know that they are all waiting to benefit from a stolen election. You – everyone, pray for me, I might still find some political, ethical maturity. Thank you.

Propaganda, Facts, “Spokespersons”
As a one-time student of political propaganda and later an activist in Public Relations and Public Education, I continue to be captivated by the way some seek to use good speech, modern technological opportunities, misinformation, lies, interpretations and sometimes truth to persuade others that their causes, positions and ideas are the right, worthy paths to follow.
It takes a really great political “Spokesman” or spin doctor to deceive me these days. They could use all the modern media they wanted. I would advise that they study the earliest Catholic popes and their “emotional” machines using much truth, when trying to impress or convince.
And by the way PNC young Turks: listen to PPP’s Benn, Jagdeo, Nandlall, Datadin, Edghill, even Ramotar and Teixeira understand how facts – and a bit of fiction – should be used. Free advice, eh?

Easter, God, Sinners, Riggers
As Easter – the main tenet of Christians – drew near, I had cause to consult the Christian Text in John Chapter 3, verses 2 to 21.
All of the above seek to explain God’s love for His creations on earth. So much so that he “put” his earthly son to death in order to save a mankind. So how has that divine gesture worked out? The Devil / Satan, as the architect of sin, seems to be mad at God. Just look around this wretched world.
Anyway I am told to believe that God actually forgives repentant sinners. Serial killers? Repeat violators? Child molesters? All are worthy of being saved because they were all created in his image? Please help me here.
When I see PNC Christian types bearing the name of God for everything (sinful), I realize that he must be tolerant. After all He seems ready to forgive riggers! What a mercy!

2) Sixteen year old accused of murdering a ten year old child. Does the 16 year old know about guns?
3) Maintain the Stadium, National Park and D’Uban Park! Our millions are at stake.
4) They made handcuffs and rocked Winston Brassington, Ashni Singh and Trevor Benn. Police Court Procedures? Could those guys sprint away as flight risks? Ho-ho-ho.
