All players of all skill levels and age groups are invited under the strict COVID-19 guidelines.
There will also be an Easter Golf Dance hunt – for all ages.
In addition, there will be many prizes and trophies as the GGA seeks to expand the game to as many people, with little or no cost.
“This opportunity is to help our children take part in a different sport (especially during this COVID-19 era) giving them the opportunity to play a game that opens many that were not closed doors (for most our people) is a difficult decision for me. Guyana Golf Association and Nexgen Golf Academy can rely on our full support and commitment to grow this game, ”said a sponsor representative.
Meanwhile, General Manager Mohamed Majeed and Project Manager Colin Bowen started playing golf a few weeks ago and are quickly hooked on the sport.
According to Majeed, “I wanted to play golf all my life but I didn’t get the chance until we met Aleem, and in one quick lesson, I realized I had found a new passion. Colin and I are very competitive and everyone we have brought to play has enjoyed the experience. ”
The company will also devote resources to developing facilities for expanding and educating the game nationwide.
“We have all the equipment for any type of project so it’s very easy for the company to help with golf development,” said Bowen.
GGA President Aleem Hussain said that with the support of such a large company, it would make it much easier to achieve the goals set for the development of the game.
“Having access to the vast information and huge machinery available from H. Nauth & Sons allows us to move faster than ever. We are in a much stronger position because of their commitment and thousands of children will benefit from their participation. ”
