Trophy Stand features the GCB – News Room Guyana development campaign

The Guyana Cricket Board, under the new leadership of Bissoondyal Singh, has been increasing efforts to develop the sport, despite the quiet on-field era created by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Board recently held discussions with businessman Ramesh Sunich, who has consented through his business Trophy Stand to be a partner in cricket development.

Trophy Stand has agreed to provide the necessary trophies for each Inter-County tournament organized by GCB, including the winner, runner-up and Man of the Finals for each tournament.

“The increased public confidence and goodwill generated by the reconstituted GCB has led to the offer of a new pharmacy to supply medical supplies for first aid kits for the three County boards. The name of this newest member of the GCB fraternity will be unveiled at the launch of the GCB / Dave Narine Educational Trust Fund on Friday, April 23, 2021, ”the GCB said in a press release.

“The newly elected officials of the GCB will continue to engage with the corporate community as they continue to promote and develop Guyana cricket.”
