Boy, 10, missing since Easter Monday

Missing: Kevin James

A ten-year-old boy from the Essequibo Coast, Region Two (Pomeroon-Supenaam) has been missing for about three days.

Kevin James was last seen alive on Easter Monday (April 5) at Cullen Sandtop, Essequibo Coast.

He was flying a kite at the time.

James lived with his grandmother in Cullen.

The child’s grandmother, Indranie Peters, told this publication that the youngster had a habit of running away from home to go to play.

On the day in question, he was flying a kite in the community and then suddenly disappeared.

The grandmother said after the child had not returned home for the night, she was worried.

The grandmother and several villagers made checks around the area about the child and he was not located.

The searches continued on Tuesday and today but in vain.

A report was made at Suddie Police Station. The grandmother pleads with a person (s) who may have information about her grandson’s location to contact the nearest police station.

“I will keep looking for him because I want to see him alive and anyway keep him in the Sandtop, I plead for him to release him and send him home,” said Peters.

A report was lodged at Suddie Police station.
