A laborer stabbed Corentyne during the row over money

A Manchester Village laborer, Corentyne, Berbice, is nursing his body injuries after he was allegedly assaulted and stabbed on Saturday night. Steve Albert, 45, was stabbed in his home by the suspect, who came up at his house.
The victim’s wife told Police that the suspect had turned up at their home and inquired about her husband.
As the man came out to meet the visitor, a dispute ensued over money. As the argument escalated, the suspect whipped out a knife and stabbed Albert several times to his head and right side chest.
Albert was picked up and transported to Port Mourant Public Hospital where he was treated and transferred to New Amsterdam Public Hospital. He remains a patient at that medical facility.
However, after committing the act, the suspect has since gone into hiding. The Police are making every effort to apprehend him.
