Albion Community Center (ACCCC) Cricket Club sponsor Dr Leslie Ramsammy addressed a meeting on Monday April 19 held by the ACCCC in the Main Hall of the Albion Community Center. The meeting included captains / managers of local cricket clubs, business people, religious leaders, headteachers, teachers and CDC officials in the Road 1 / Clifton Settlement area.

The meeting was held in connection with ACCCC’s partnership with the Ministry of Health in another COVID-19 vaccination campaign, set for Saturday April 24 at the Albion Community Center, beginning at 08:30 hours. People aged 18 and over are being targeted for vaccination.

“Everyone is encouraged to spread the word, and be on board as we fight the COVID-19 pandemic” is the focus of the message being communicated.
The Club had partnered with the Ministry of Health in an earlier vaccination campaign held on April 10, 2021. It was one of the most successful vaccination drives conducted in the country, and 421 people were vaccinated.
