Your Eyewitness can understand (not accept but “understand”) the PNC’s refusal to show its SoP. It’s like playing cards while cheating the whole time – then finally insisting you’ve won the game even as your opponents are screaming “Thief! Thief! ”You’re not going to be showing your hand that would reveal your swindle, would you? Don’t think! You would want to take that to your grave.
But now that the GECOM Secretariat’s rigging trio of Lowenfield, Myers and Mingo are before the courts, how can the prosecution prove they have “mouthed” SoP Reg 4 tabulation? So that finally suffering Guyanese constituents can get justice? It is useless to ask the PPP for their copies as the Rigging Trio – with vigorous and stentorianly support from the PNC – would immediately oppose them as corrupt as the PPP has skin in the game.
You ask, Dear Readers, for the SoP copies nailed to polling station doors – after the poll and count – as Luther’s Theses on that church in Wittenberg? Too late … those are all gone now and blowing in the wind. So what’s left? Well, the law requires a copy of all SoP to be sent to GECOM – the official referee of our elections – so why not ask them? Don’t they have a specific and constitutional mandate to do the right thing for the sake of the State and the nation? Aren’t they funded to the tune of billions annually to take care of this business?
The problem is, the SoPs went to the CEO of SECRETARIAT GECOM – the same felon Lowenfield on trial along with his DEPUTY Meyers and Returning Officer Reg 4 Mingo !! Talk about getting the cat to protect the milk !! And very creamy milk at that – rich enough to decide who would have power for the next five years. Except that the Sanctimonious Gangster was bigger than himself when he called for a recount to avoid the Mingoed SoP scandal.
And we reach out to the CPD and the CoP – who are responsible for prosecution in our law and order system – demanding that the GECOM SoPs be produced so that they can argue that the figures on them are cocked by the Rigging Trio . Lucky for them, the Opposition lawyers at the time — arguing for the Court about using the recalculation figures – had the foresight to request that the GECOM SoP be seized with the High Court Registrar. She, however, balked. claiming that she needed specific directions from the court. And so we finally get to where the issue is now – the CPD and the CoP go to the Chief Justice for that order!
Who would think that all this would be needed to access public documents?

… Strategy COVID-19
The fact that younger people are still catching COVID-19 is clear from the numbers coming in. More people are generally catching the disease and death is also evident from those daily numbers. But what your Eyewitness has been doing for months now is that all of this is predictable — both from the inherent nature of viruses (which they will mutate and produce variants) and also from the evidence collected from other jurisdictions.
Well, the authorities have finally come on board, but your Eyewitness still thinks nothing with enough tone. First of all, it is true that the vaccines that we have are better than no vaccine at all – regardless of the variation. So everyone should volley to the bar and get their shot. But we know that some vaccines are less effective against some variants.
For example, AstraZeneca’s is effective against the Brazilian variant, but none from South Africa, which sent back their million doses.
We still need to know what variations we have.

It was revealed that the PNC had solicited and received from Japan, an extensive 100-page study of options for converting the excess gas from our oil fields into electricity.
But never released. What were they hiding ??
