A Sunday morning fire destroyed a house in Eccles, East Bank Demerara, leaving a family of four homeless sources, fire and police confirmed.
The thick black smoke was visible from miles flowing from 94 BC Eccles closer to the Industrial Site.
Police said no one was injured and the fire had not affected any of the neighboring building.
Samuel Ward, his wife and two children lived in the house.
Preliminary information is that the fire started in a room.
