Inside a PNC meeting these days

Black history month, Always white history

Only you can decide if this PNC meeting took place as described. Those of you who are interested are already free to guess whether I was invited and whether I was present or whether my young Turk was part-time PNC mole clause he sent me mobile phone videos of the “closed door” session. It’s up to you all.

Here is a summary of the National People’s Congress (PNC) meeting called to book a few days before Ashni Singh’s National Budget before Valentine’s Day. Neither leader, brigadier nor Volda chairman was present! Also absent was gen-sec Amna. (Unhealthy). So it was the responsibility of the Leader of the Parliamentary Opposition, before the GDF Harmon intelligence dude, to chair the case. Basil W. kept an eye, ear and tongue over the session as five young Turks – male and female – showed enthusiasm.

Curiously, the case began with Comrade Aubrey criticizing Joe for the handling of an issue relating to the party’s response to VP Jagdeo’s recent press conference. Comrade Aubrey warned the “Leader” Joe to leave any comment on Linden before any formal announcements.

The meeting prioritized a few issues for “strategic manipulation”: forthcoming PPP Budget measures (Winston was ready to jump); Continued strategic “overrun” for some fellows communities; pressure on targeted diaspora supporters for funding (Brigadier priority assignment); scrutinizing oil revenues in New York as the party monitors the PPP’s intentions to use them; dramatic planning protests publicly in and out of parliament; and swelling termination dismissals even if those “employees” were needed.

Continuous image, media usage

The Young Turkey o Linden proposed: “We must maintain our presence and image in the face of PPP governmental reach. The three women must join Chris and Sherod to use Facebook and other social media platforms strategically and consistently. “We can’t afford local television and radio and those three New York sequels now seem crowded”.

Comrade Aubrey instead finished the session wistful a reminder to project the image and contributions of a few older influencers – Oscar fellows, Yvonne, Rashleigh and RHO for example.

A smaller caucus retired to strategize privately on how to use – for public sympathy – attacks on the Budget 2021 and current crime trends. The Leader of the Opposition was finally warned how to approach only the racial elements.

PPP Confidence – Real? False?

The People’s Progressive Party (PPP) also held a short strategy forum. Not at Freedom House but at the VP’s mansion by the sea – with social distance as the house is huge – and plenty of food and drinks with lots of privacy.

They had almost perfected a “powerful” week before Valentine: a press conference by VP Bharrat to expand on everything, the first parliamentary address by His Excellency, followed by Ashni’s 2021 hour budget.

The PPP programs for national development would be fully publicized through those three presentations. VP General Secretary said they should try “ignore”Granger / Harmon resistance as far as possible and practical.

Madam Gail agreed, reminding however that supporters and other citizens must be reminded of the a five-month PNC power grab attempt on intermittent opportunity. She sounded disappointed that the PNC petition would hardly produce early new elections. “We would be whipping their backs a lot more now,” someone said.

Confidence rose from the session as plans were made to utilize ministerial opportunities for continued outreach; to give gifts and reminders; to encourage Big Business investments and a brief discussion about using oil revenues.

Oddly enough, a very sober Donald Rabindranath urged his “external investment” thinking for GUYSUCO – “you must not use the oil money on sugar!”

He then joined the in-house caucus to refine party strategies to “reform”Public Service, Police and GECOM. Drinks and music ended the pretty discussions. (How many of the above do you all believe?)

Black History Month vs White History forever

I doubt if it was any coincidence that Cheddi Jagan endorsed Forbes Burnham’s choice February to establish a Republican. An unprecedented uprising in Kbice in 1763 Kofi inspiring!

Now people of African descent all over the world are celebrating Black history / African heritage month also in February. Next Friday I will be highlighting two elements of observing black history. For today, I point out a straightforward Afro-American comedienne commentary where he suggested white history a month. She says that America will realize how many of the honorary founding fathers actually owned slaves (it was “acceptable” then); why the Second Amendment was inserted on “theft of arms” (to police abominable slaves); and even the Roman / Greek roots of the “Kuklos” – KKK.

White history is written forever in sympathetic, sometimes triumphant versions. Earlier anecdotes are now slowly being discovered. Those stories were, in fact, the history of the “white” worlds that once existed Black African.

(Now consider why there is still great joy)

And pride to announce “the first African, the first Afro-American to… ” Achievement is allowed only now-2021 !?

Ponder, think well …

● 1) Criticism in democracy must be facilitated. Constructive criticism should not always fall into it personal character attacks. (And when judges become executives or government executives, they appreciate, oh inside.)

● 2) Dismissal of Belgian cocaine giant BRA-GRA Scanner operators. “Ongoing investigations”?

● 3) Repeat inquiry: Except for Samuel Archibald Hinds when the other four (4) Afro-Guyanese will be appointed to their diplomatic postings? Ho-ho-ho.

‘Till next week
