Johnson to lead Guyana in CWI Regional Super 50

Kaieteur News – Leon Johnson will lead Guyana Jaguars in the West Indies Cricket CG (CWI) Regional CG Insurance tournament which will be played next month in Antigua and Barbuda.
Six teams will compete in the 47th edition of the tournament – Guyana, Barbados, Jamaica, Leeward Islands, Trinidad and Tobago, and Shimron Hetymer, India’s batsman, who will be Johnson’s deputy. The Guyana Jaguars are expected to leave Guyana on Jan. 30 for Antigua, where they will continue to participate in the prescribed COVID 19 security measures leading up to their first game on Feb. 8.
