

Home News Man gets 30 months imprisonment for breaking into mandir homes
Forty-one-year-old Gopaul Singh of Ankervill Port Mourant, Corentyne, Berbice, was sentenced to 30 months in prison on six counts of break and enter and larch.

He appeared before Magistrate Rabindranauth Singh at Albion Magistrates Court where he pleaded guilty to all the charges when read to him.
The unemployed man was charged with two counts of breaking in and entering and committed larceny on a grocery store – owned by Gannis Prittipal – and two other counts committed on a house owned by Samantha Maripeen.
He was further charged with two counts of break-in and entering and committed larceny on the Shivashram Saga Mandir.
