Nikesha Punchline Soaps – Stabroek News

Nikesha Punch is one of those scores of emerging local creative souls in Guyana’s manufacturing sector whose opportunities to ‘parade’ their products on the local market are, nowadays, limited by the persistence of the COVID-19 pandemic. Social distance restrictions have changed at the various Outdoor Markets and other public events that would have allowed her to measure relatively cheap product promotion. These days, she has to take what she gets and her main challenge, these days, has to do with the fact that even though the market ‘has gone down , ‘so to speak, her savings are reducing. Still, she binds her time.

Nikesha’s Punchline Soaps, her first foray into the manufacturing sector, emerged from her personal research into soap making. The story, however, does not start there. As a Degree student at Campbellville High School he was introduced to the discipline known as Agricultural Science. After that, he went to Guyana School of Agriculture where he obtained a Diploma in Agriculture. Two years of employment in the private and public sectors was followed by admission to Sterling College in Vermont, USA where he read for a Degree in Sustainable Agriculture.
