Two men, who led the ranks of the Customs Anti-Narcotics Unit (CANU) in rapid pursuit in Georgetown on Tuesday, were arrested and reported in possession of cocaine and marijuana.
Daquan Wills, a 25-year-old man of 141 Meadow Brook Drive, Georgetown and 39-year-old Joel Fung-A-Fat, of 342 Foreshaw Street, Georgetown, and of a U.S. address, are in police custody.
The anti-doping agency said in a statement Tuesday night that Wills was driving a Nissan Juke baron, PVV 6706, which ranks under surveillance.

When ranks attempted to intercept the said vehicle, he sped away and CANU chased and intercepted at Lance Gibbs Street and Vlissengen Road, Georgetown.
It is alleged that during the hunt, a brick of cocaine suspected of being thrown from the vehicle and the same was recovered by CANU ranks weighing 1.054 kg. The two men were the sole occupants of the vehicle.
They eventually led CANU ranks to Stone Avenue, Campbellville where another brick of suspected cocaine and a bag containing bulk parcels of suspected cannabis were found in the yard of an empty house. Cocaine weighed 1.048 kg and cannabis totaled 17.956kg.
The investigation is ongoing.
