

The Ministry of Health (MOH) has issued 175 Guyanath COVID-19 death – 65 year old man from Region Five (Mahaica-Berbice).
A statement from the ministry stated that the man died while being cared for in a medical facility. This death represents the 11th person to have died of the virus for this month so far.
Two other deaths were also recorded on Wednesday.
All Guyanese are reminded to observe the COVID-19 EMERGENCY MEASURES protocols (NO. 12), in force until January 31, 2021. This order emphasizes that:
- the need to use a face mask correctly and consistently when leaving your home;
- the importance of maintaining the physical distance six feet from others;
- and the need for good hand hygiene to help reduce the spread of COVID-19.
