This 4-team victory over the Bahamas is a significant morale boost

GUYANA’s World Cup qualifying campaign received a significant morale boost with a clear 4-team win against the Bahamas last Tuesday in the Dominican Republic

This World Cup qualifying victory is only second to Earl O’Neal’s 5-2 men’s defeat to Grenada on GCC ground, Bourda in March 1980. Guyana’s World Cup qualifying campaign began some 45 years ago, July 4, 1976.
