We salute the great people of Guyana to you
DEAR EDITOR,
There could have been a million Charandasses but the elections would have been cheated and the PNC-led Coalition would still be in power, here is my summary of the whole affair at a place called Guyana.
Yes, Mr Charandass did a noble and heroic deed but his actions would have faded to oblivion had it not been for Dr. Jagdeo, Mr Nandlall, the International Community and the PPP / C Team – these were the main strike bowlers who got the illegal PNC out.
But more importantly and of most importance, I repeat, of the greater significance are the People of Guyana who empowered the PNC and to them, my trust and respect are paramount. The People of Guyana stood by us, the People of this great country did not let us down, they stood the test, they came out in numbers and voted for the party that would make a difference in their lives, again I say thank you Guyana.
To this end, we are eternally grateful for the efforts of our dear people and that we must govern for their benefit, we cannot distract or fail in our responsibility towards the people we must giving back to Guyana, yes, to all of Guyana.
With the PPP / C Team in charge, our country will never be the same again, our country will be transformed, this party is for the people. I say whatever political affiliation, color, creed, religion or sexual orientation, over all its people will find equal space.
In this festive celebration season, a merry Christmas and a prosperous new year. May God bless Guyana.
